why i changed my idea in my proposal

My mask started to change early on into the design process when i was doing my ideas i made  a mask that was full head but i looked at it and i did not what to do a full face mask and more of a half face mask that kept the mouth free and only covers the eyes ans nose,

in my proposal i stated that i was going to do a full mask aether from a china, Japan china 

but i decide not tom do one because i thought i would take to long to make and i really like the way the Venetian masks looked all the patterns and the designee,

when changing my mask i was looking at that influenced me where the mission Dance with the devil from Hitman blood money where there are to parties in a building and one is heaven
and the other is hell and you have to infiltrate them parties and you can find theses masks, reason i liked it was because how plain it was with just the line down the eye.

i really like the way it was detailed with all the engravings and embossing and with the top one i liked how clean it was on the face was not to over the top in decoration

Initial Ideas

For these initial ideas I was just experimenting with different shapes and themes to give myself a better idea of what style of mask I was going with. A major part in these experiments came from the ideas I explored in my mind map. This consisted of themes from both games and culture.

These are mask designs I came up with by mashing up random shapes and textures. I tried to keep it fairly simple and avoid themes like steampunk, modern day film and theatre.

I was looking at doing a SIFI mask very early on in the project i thought would be very cool to design one

for the early drawings i was looking into gas masks and they way they where shaped and they eyes but i thought that i would be to hard to make i changed the shape not to much and changed it into a helmet with spikes and visor over they eyes, really liked that idea so i wanted to go with it so i changed the helmet shape and put some ears on the side and made the visor bigger so it poked over the edge of the mask,

i wanted to make it look really cool and boding like its looking out at you sort of like a transformer which i found a relay cool idea.

i had help from my teacher Chris he showed  me how to make the glass glow on the front of the mask

The way he helped me make the glow was he selected the visor section and clicked on effects and selected outer glow on the object and selected the colour on the slider duplicated
